A concise request can seek “the existing booking sheet, release or discharge event, and release screen for the identified booking, including admission date and time, release date and time, release reason, releasing authority, and receiving agency or destination if recorded.” State whether inspection or electronic copies are preferred and request an estimate before copying begins.
The Tennessee Public Records Act gives Tennessee citizens access to state and local public records unless an exception applies. Inspection requests generally cannot be forced into writing, while copy requests may require a written form. If prompt production is impractical, the seven-business-day rule calls for production, a written legal denial, or notice of the reasonable time needed. It does not promise that every record will be delivered within seven days.

Moore County Jail Release Court Proof

A court order and physical release can occur at different times. A bond order does not show when Moore County Jail completed processing. A dismissal on one count does not rule out another hold. A judgment crediting time served can explain discharge, yet the jail event remains the best source for the physical time. Expunged, sealed, juvenile, victim-identifying, medical, and security-sensitive material may be removed, withheld, or redacted under applicable law and court rules.

Moore County Jail Release Context
A May 2025 inspection report marked Moore “R” following an April 30 inspection and supplied a June 27 reinspection date. The code meant reinspection, not closure. Tennessee Corrections Institute states that local jails are inspected annually under Tennessee Code § 41-4-140. This operational context must not be used to infer anything about a named release.
